This program of the Charter for Compassion is described as follows:

Beginning with the moment when Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel marched across the Edmund Pettus Bridge alongside the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., we will discuss the intersection of Social Justice, Judaism, Compassion, and Positivity.

Here is some information on Dorice Horenstein, the presenter:

Dorice Horenstein has worked in Jewish education for more than 30 years. She is known for taking her audience from oy to joy by using personal stories, universal wisdom, knowledge of the Hebrew language, and concepts rooted in Positive Intelligence to cultivate healthy relationships, thus inspiring others to live an enjoyable, more grounded and focused life!

Note: An end time for the event is not given; most are 1 hour long, so that is what we used in our calendar.
