Who We Are
Northern New Jersey JVP (NNJ JVP) is a pod/chapter of Jewish Voice for Peace, a national, grassroots organization inspired by Jewish tradition to work for a just and lasting peace according to principles of human rights, equality, and international law for all the people of Israel and Palestine.
The JVP family of organizations has restructured. JVP Action, our 501c4 organization, is now doing business as JVP. JVP Lab, our 501c3 organization, continues separately and remains focused on our nonpartisan educational and cultural work. Learn more at jvp.org/jvporgs.

Advocacy Workshop – Try This At Home
Sunday, July 19th, 3:00–5:00 p.m.
How do we cause change? Across the country, ordinary citizens are building increasing support for human rights, the BDS movement, and an end to American complicity in the crimes against Palestinians. Many have had impact despite biased media, corrupt politicians, government attempts to curtail free speech, and public ignorance. Join us to hear how 3 citizen activist groups have caused change in their communities on a governmental, corporate, and public level. This workshop will offer practical strategies, tools, and skills for effective human‑rights advocacy at the federal, state, and local levels including on how to: 91) develop a strategy for affecting change in your area, 92) build and manage a team to meet your objectives, 93) build popular support for your campaign, and 94) get the attention of governments, corporations, and others, and motivate them to support your campaign.
