Who We Are
Northern New Jersey JVP (NNJ JVP) is a pod/chapter of Jewish Voice for Peace, a national, grassroots organization inspired by Jewish tradition to work for a just and lasting peace according to principles of human rights, equality, and international law for all the people of Israel and Palestine.
The JVP family of organizations has restructured. JVP Action, our 501c4 organization, is now doing business as JVP. JVP Lab, our 501c3 organization, continues separately and remains focused on our nonpartisan educational and cultural work. Learn more at jvp.org/jvporgs.

The Palestinian Exile: 78 Years and No Future

While Israel bombs what’s left of Gaza and settlers, backed by the IDF, and terrorize the West Bank, millions languish in the shadows of exile. For 78 years, over three million Palestinians have been trapped across 31 UN camps in Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan. No bombs fall here, yet systemic isolation has choked the futures of four generations. They live in hyper-dense camps without infrastructure. They are citizens of no country, legally barred from most jobs, unable to leave or go home. Now, a political campaign threatens to dismantle UNRWA, their only lifeline. Join our expert panel to understand our complicity, confront this crisis and demand a humanitarian resolution.
